Sacred night,
through the masks,
white breath of dancers

Kikaku 1661 – 1707

On the longest night of the year, December 21st, a ritual unfolds in the present between two musicians and two dancers. Music weaves the fabric of time, opening intervals where everything is suspended and where dance becomes a mirror and, at the same time, its reflection, in which to see, as in the moon that illuminates the night, beyond masks and dreams. Darkness gives birth to light, and light illuminates darkness, but who is watching and projecting what is manifested? A vibrant act, beyond space and time, where wonder awakens the light in the heart and the beauty of existence.

Presented in 2015 at Macao in Milan.
