Butoh dance: Kea Tonetti acousmatic music: Michel Titin-Schnaider
In the moonlight, we can see within ourselves and beyond ourselves. Just as a mirror can be a window that looks far into space and time, into the past and future, and elsewhere, so the receptive moon illuminates who we are. Enchanted by its light, we can travel through dreams, imagination, memories, wild nature, instincts, and the unconscious. Companion of the sun, cosmic mother, expression of the soul, and guardian of profound mysteries.
The performance was created for the En Chair et en Son Festival in Paris in 2023, on the music of Michel Titin-Schnaider, Autobiophonie, a very special composition, beyond any defined genre. It is a very personal music, “an autobiophony”, composed of the sounds and music that have influenced its author since his birth.
