Performance inspired by Pierrot, the famous mask of the Commedia dell’Arte, renowned for his naïve and tragicomic adventures.
Presented with Kea Tonetti at: Paris Butoh Festival, Espace Culturel Bertin Poirée (2019), Paris; Spazio Continuum, Milan (2019); in an earlier version, Three Little Pierrots, it debuted in a trio composed of Joan Laage, Kea Tonetti, and Maruska Ronchi, at Spazio Nu in Pontedera in 2018. Joan Laage and Shoko Zama will later present it at the Seattle International Dance Festival.
