Two stones marking a passageway can create a doorway. If you can see it and pass through it, everything is different, even though you remain in the same place. The doorway is a passageway, an interval, jealously guarded by two guardians, represented in myths in various ways: sirens, centaurs, the Minotaur, angels with flaming swords, dragons, half-human, half-animal beings. They represent fear and desire: to encounter the door of the inner temple is to encounter the demons that veil and obscure it.
The flower garden beyond the door is the place where the flowers of a new humanity bloom from mud and plastic. Crossing the door, the two guardians meet, reveal themselves, and, dissolving, reunite in luminous awareness.
