I am my internal shadow, laughing at the illusion I call reality. I am a simple shadow, endlessly transforming, insubstantial and intangible. My emptiness is this sacred cloak that envelops me like a chrysalis; the strength and the beauty of the absolute, the primordial chaos, the unknowable mystery. The shadow is the shadow of light, its complement, without one the other cannot exist. This performance is an act of my love of life, a rite of purification. It is allowing myself to be experienced, lost and found again. It is dying to be reborn.

I belong to my body, to my flesh and to my blood… How can I not love that which possesses me affectionately? Just as I give myself to the Earth, I give myself to my flesh and to my bones. Just as I entrust myself to the oceans, I entrust myself to my blood. Just as I abandon myself to the air, I abandon myself to my skin; just as I commend myself to the stars, I commend myself to my hair. And overflowing with this radiant love to which I am bound, I act upon the world and upon myself… And at the center of my womb, now infinite, I receive and give birth to the light in its wholeness.(from ‘La via dei Tarocchi’, l’arcano XVII La Stella, by A. Jodorowsky and Marianne Costa).
