We live under an enchantment, behind the veil of “Maya”, which hides the essential character of things, hypnotized by illusory ideas that generate desire, aversion or fear. A white swan, wounded, oblivious of its splendor, dies and seems to scream: what is my name? The innocence that dies during wars and abuses, but also the old world that dies generating the new. Removing the veil is to remember that the Spirit is in everything and is eternal. Dancing with Mother Earth, my body becomes empty and receives the Universe with love.

“Splendore” was performed at the Amsterdam Butoh Festival 2022, at the Hybrid Butoh Festival 2022 in Wien, at the Helsinki Butoh Festival 2023, at the Miniature Festival 2023, in Ruvo di Puglia;  at the Valence Butoh Festival 2024, France; at Sol de Sabba Festival in Bosa, Sardinia and  at the Festival “Le Voci dell’’Anima” 2024 in Rimini, Italy.
