EVERYTHING IS VIBRATION

Butoh Dance and Sensitive Dance® Workshop

Matter, thought, emotions, energy and sound vibrate. This vibration of pure light and love manifests itself freely in the various forms of the Universe.

Awaken Presence and  nourish the beauty of the present moment, allowing dance to emerge naturally and letting forms become expressions of the soul.

Sensitive Dance®, is a somatic practice that explores the organic movement, generated from the skeleton and the sensations, helps the rooting and opens internal  and external space in dance.

In  Butoh Dance , we enter a meditative state of “emptiness” and return to the “empty body” a natural body, free from social and cultural limitations, in a state where we are danced. In this transformation time, we  dance the energies of Nature, the human soul, images of art, inner landscapes, personal and universal memories.

The birth of a dance is a moment of openness, where we can feel a great force and love being released, to experience eroticism, sensuality, the feeling of things, catharsis, to expand Consciousness, to create a ritual.

The workshop will be accompanied by live music by Tivitavi (Tibetan bowls, gongs, didjeridoo, percussion, stones, natural sounds, electronic sounds, flutes and vocals)

Workshop in Englisch.

At Groove Dance Studio.

Dancing for Yamamba

Butoh Dance performance with Kea Tonetti

“Butoh is life that dares to live death” (Masaki Iwana)

In a Noh tale, a dancer enters the forest, following the Buddha’s path, where she meets and dances for the Yamamba, lady of the mountains, seen as a deity, a witch. She can change her appearance at will, transforming into a loving mother, a young woman, an old woman, or an animal; an archetype of the Mother Goddess, connected to the night, the moon, and death as transformation, death generating life. Death in nature is not something frightening, but rather sweet, open, soft, gentle, like the red leaves in autumn that offer themselves to the earth, to generate life. Mother Earth dances an eternal and wonderful transformation. I dance with her, drunk with soma, the drink of immortality, which reproduces endlessly, like life, which beyond forms, opens endlessly, to receive the divine spirit.
